Program Description:
The purpose of the Tribal Transit Program is: to enhance public transportation access on and around Indian reservations in non-urbanized areas; to assist in development, maintenance, development, improvement, and use of public transportation systems on and around Indian reservation.
Funding Guidance and Timelines:
Not available at this time. We note that the amount of funding made available in the stimulus effectively more than doubles the annually budgeted appropriations for this program.
